Knitting Drama!

OK,who knew that knitting could be so hard?! I mean, when you see those ladies in those comics are knitting all they do is move their needles. However, when I tried knitting, I couldn't even hold the needle right! I think my mom's annoyed with me because I was like "What finger?" :(.  Anyways, anyone knows some knitting tips?
